For best results, an initial eight sessions are required. For treatments on the face, these treatments should be booked five weeks apart. For all other areas of the body, treatments should be 6-8 weeks apart.

Immediately following treatment, you may experience redness, like a sunburn, and some slight swelling of the hair follicles at the treatment site. This could last 2-3 days, but is completely normal.
- Recently sun exposed/tanned skin (please wear sunscreen and cover areas to be treated with clothing/a hat for 3 weeks leading up to treatment). Receiving Diolaze(Laser/Lumecca IPL) within two weeks of active tanning (natural sunlight or a tanning bed) may cause hyperpigmentation (white spots), which can last up to 2-3+ months.
- Current or history of skin cancer or pre-malignant moles
- Use of isotretinoin (Accutane/Epuris) within 6 months prior to treatment
- Known skin photosensitivity or using medications increasing skin photosensitivity
- Diseases that may be stimulated by light, such as epilepsy, lupus and urticaria
- Vitiligo
- Skin type V or VI (medium brown-black skin colour -- follow Fitzpatrick Skin Classification and/or Lancer Ethnicity Scale to identify you skin type)
- Treatment cannot be done over or within 0.5 inches of tattoos or permanent make-up
- Treatment cannot be done over beards/moustaches due to potential for hair reduction
- Pregnant or nursing.
You must avoid bleaching, tweezing, plucking or waxing hair for 4-6 weeks prior to your treatment.
