Procedure time: The procedure time for DP4™ Microneedling is around 60-90 minutes but can vary depending on the individual and the extent of the treatment.

Downtime/Recovery time: DP4™ microneedling has little to no downtime or recovery. After the procedure you can resume regular activities immediately. There may be slight redness or skin tightness but that usually fades within 12-48 hours. It’s advised to avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen AlumierMD Sheer Hydration SPF 40+ everyday.

Pain level: The pain level of DP4™ Microneedling is generally little to none. Most individuals find the treatment to be comfortable. Before the treatment, numbing cream is often applied to the treatment zone to help alleviate any discomfort during the process.

NitroNox system (Optional): In YHVH Medical & Aesthetics Clinic, we offer our clients Nitronox (Laughing gas) as an add on option to an anxiety free and pain free treatment/procedure experience.

Number of sessions required: The number of sessions required for DP4™ microneedling can vary depending on individual factors such as the extent of skin concerns and the desired outcome. Typically for Rejuvenation 3-6 treatments are required, for Acne scarring 4-6 treatments, for Stretch marks 4-8 treatments, for Pigmentation 4-6 treatments; all spaced 2-8 weeks apart. Maintenance sessions can be taken as needed.

Results: Patients can expect to see visible results after 3-6 treatments after starting the DP4™ Microneedling. The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments.

Contraindications for treatment: Certain conditions and factors may affect the suitability of DP4™ Microneedling. It is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant or taking anticoagulants. Isotretinoin, accutane, contraceptive pill, have active psoriasis, active herpes simplex (cold sores), scleroderma, open lesions, skin cancer, undiagnosed/unusual moles, active lupus erythematosus, active collagen vascular disease, acne vulgaris stage IV, warts, bacterial/fungal infections, undiagnosed solar keratosis, cardiac conditions, auto-immune disorders, hepatic disease, HIV, diabetes, haemophilia or other blood clotting disorders, active vitiligo, history of keloid scars. Please inform your aesthetician prior to getting treatment.
