Job Description:

Medical Aesthetician-LPN Position will cover the following job responsibilities but not limited to:

Maintain your LPN license in good standing in Alberta with your license providing body.
Maintain your Malpractice Liability protective insurance coverage with your body CLPNA/CNPS/CRNA.
Must be certified in Dermal Fillers/Botox injection by a reputable institute like CBAM.
Minimum 2 years of experience of Dermal Fillers/Botox injections.
Be flexible with the work schedule.
Co-ordinate and be flexible with doctors (MD/ND) and other Medical & Aesthetic Clinic staff.
Strictly maintain the confidentiality of the clients/patients.
Explain and provide consultation to the clients/patients seeking treatments for the Medical Aesthetics and Men’s/Women’s Sexual Health & Wellness Procedures.
Provide detailed explanations of the advantages and disadvantages, potential side effects, as well as pre- and post-treatment precautions for every procedure or treatment. Ensure that clients/patients sign the consent form before each treatment session.
Get the patients/clients before & after pictures for the treatment areas with the signed patient consent and upload them in the patient/client chart notes for the performed procedure.
Perform the procedures/treatments on the clients/ patients based on the assigned day/week schedule.
Knowledge of AlumierMD Skin Care brand is an asset.
Record comprehensive chart notes for the administered treatment in the Medical Aesthetic Software (Mindbody) for the respective client/patient.
Operate TELUS Med-Access EMR, Medical Aesthetic Software (Mindbody) and medical photo software for before & after pictures for the treatment.
Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the environment by adhering to Alberta Health Infection and Prevention Standards, including the regular sanitization and sterilization of equipment and consumables.
Perform the following procedure/treatments to the patients/clients but not limited to.
- - Phlebotomy, PRP preparation & treatment and injection in one single sitting/visit of client/patient.
  - Perform Dermal Fillers/Botox injections.
  - Women’s Sexual Health procedures like PRP-Women’s Shots, Morpheus8V, VTone, Plus90, Emsella Chair etc.
  - Men’s ED (Erectile Dysfunction) treatments like PRP Men’s Shots, Alpha Energy treatments, UTI/Kegel treatments by Emsella Chair etc.
  - Morpheus8 for the face, neck, décolleté and body.
  - Perform PRP-treatment by Beauty Booster for face, neck, décolleté and hair restoration.
  - Administer IV infusions to the patients/clients.
  - Perform procedures with liquid nitrogen, nitrous oxide gun (Cryosuccess) and cautery etc. for clients with skin tags/warts.
  - Perform BHRT (bio-identical hormone replacement therapy/pallet insertion therapy) procedure/treatment to men and women.
  - Perform procedures for acne, rosacea, wrinkles, permanent hair removal etc. by using treatment options available at the YHVH Medical Clinic.
  - Perform Dp4™ microneedling, Microdermabrasion, Forma/Forma Plus, Hydrafacial, Evoke and EvolveX for patients/clients.

Work Hours: Part-time hours: up to 20-30 hours/week depending upon booking of the clients.

Salary: $23-$27/hour as per related work experience.
