How Does It Work?

A HydraFacial by Syndeo is a multi-step procedure that rejuvenates the skin. It includes cleansing and exfoliation to remove impurities, followed by a gentle acid peel to further exfoliate. Extraction is performed to remove debris from the pores, and then customized serums are infused into the skin for hydration and nourishment. The treatment concludes with the application of moisturizer and sunscreen for protection. The treatment concludes with the application of moisturizer and sunscreen for protection.
HydraFacial® Syndeo™ comes with the following therapies:

Hydrafacial by Vortex Fusion Technology: This technology is to gently refresh and revive any skin type by cleansing, extracting, and hydrating.

The Personalized HydraFacial with Boosters: This treatment with boosters targets and treats specific skin conditions like the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, texture, elasticity, hyperpigmentation, pore size, acne, dark spots, dull skin, and dehydrating skin. The Hydrafacial also helps cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate the scalp and hair follicles by HydraFacial (Keravive Treatment), and treats acne and prevents future breakouts by HydraFacial (Murad Clarifying Booster).

HydraFacial Lymphatic Therapy: The lymphatic therapy is to improve rhythmic contractions and stimulate the lymph nodes to improve their activity in order to move static/immobile lymphatic fluid. This therapy helps to improve the following:

    • Removes toxic buildup to reveal healthy looking skin
    • Helps detoxify the skin
    • Decreases inflammation
    • Removes unwanted buildup
    • Optimizes skin health

HydraFacial LightStim Elipsa LED Light Therapy: This therapy is a patented technology to treat skin using various light wavelengths. There are two modes, blue light and red light. The blue light helps improve oily skin and clogged pores by killing acne causing bacteria and reducing activity of sebaceous glands. The red light decreases signs of aging and the appearance of redness by boosting collagen and reducing skin inflammation.

The procedure is non-invasive, suitable for all skin types, and requires no downtime. It takes around 30 to 45 minutes to complete.

At YHVH Medical & Aesthetic Clinic, HydraFacial® Syndeo™ Improves:
  • Sagging Skin
  • Fine Lines/Wrinkles
  • Acne
  • Cellulite
  • Loose Skin
  • Rosacea
  • Aging/Wrinkles
  • Enlarged/Clogged Pores
  • Face Tightening
  • Lymphatic Therapy
  • Bald Patches/Hair Restoration

Details:

Procedure time: The procedure time for a Hydrafacial typically ranges from 30 to 45 minutes. However, the exact duration may vary depending on factors such as the specific needs of the patient and any additional steps or personalized treatments like boosters, lymphatic therapy, and LightStim Elipsa LED Light Therapy incorporated into the session. The relatively short procedure time makes Hydrafacial a convenient option for individuals seeking effective skincare solutions without significant time commitments or downtime.

Downtime/Recovery time: Hydrafacial has little to no downtime or recovery. After the procedure, you can resume your regular activities immediately. There might be slight redness or sensitivity that fades within a few hours. It’s advised to avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen SPF 40+ (AlumierMD Sheer Hydration Untinted SPF 40) for a few days. Hydrafacial offers quick and effective results without significant downtime or recovery period.

Pain level: The pain level of a Hydrafacial is generally very low. Most individuals find the treatment to be quite comfortable and even relaxing. The procedure is designed to be gentle and non-invasive, minimizing any discomfort. Some individuals may experience a mild tingling sensation or slight pressure during certain steps of the treatment, such as during extraction. However, any discomfort is typically minimal and well-tolerated.

Number of sessions required: The number of sessions required for Hydrafacial can vary depending on individual goals and skin conditions. However, many people achieve noticeable improvements in their skin’s appearance and texture after just one to two sessions. For optimal and long-lasting results, a series of continuous sessions is often recommended. Typically, a treatment plan consists of monthly sessions over a period of three to six months. After completing the initial series, a maintenance schedule of one session every two to three months is commonly suggested to sustain the benefits and keep the skin in optimal condition.

Results: Hydrafacial provides several benefits and results for the skin, including improved texture, enhanced hydration, reduced pore size, diminished hyperpigmentation, improved acne and blemishes, and overall skin rejuvenation. Individual results may vary, and working with a skincare professional at the YHVH Medical & Aesthetic Clinic can help determine the specific outcomes based on your skin’s needs.

Risks/Side effects: Hydrafacial is generally safe with minimal risks and side effects. Possible side effects include temporary redness, skin sensitivity, temporary increase in breakouts, rare allergic reactions, and increased sun sensitivity.

Contraindications for treatment: Certain conditions and factors may affect the suitability of Hydrafacial. It is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have used Accutane and Epuris within the past 12 months, use Retin-A/ AHA/ Chemical Peels (should stop use 5+ days prior), have had Botox/ Fillers within the past 14 days, have a severe form of acne, inflammation of the skin on the face, eczema/ psoriasis, had facial waxing within the past 14 days, undergone IPL/ Laser Therapy within the past 14 days, have sunburn, are allergic to shellfish/ aspirin/ sulfur, have an abnormal unidentified facial growth or mark, cold sores or fever blisters, open lesions, an autoimmune or communicable disease (such as Lupus/ Scleroderma), or have allergies to the product ingredients.

Booster/ Maintenance treatment: Maintenance treatments for Hydrafacial can help sustain the results achieved from the initial series of sessions and keep the skin in optimal condition. The frequency of maintenance treatments varies depending on individual needs and goals. Generally, it is recommended to schedule a Hydrafacial session every two to three months after completing the initial treatment plan. This regular maintenance helps to maintain the skin’s hydration, clarity, and overall health, ensuring long-lasting benefits.
