Job Position: Medical Office Assistant (MOA)/Clinic Front Desk Staff

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our team on a Full-time/part-time basis. Applicant must have 1- year of Medical Clinic experience and working experience of TELUS Med-Access (EMR).

Medical Office Assistant (MOA) Position will cover the following job responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Be flexible with the work schedule.
  • Co-ordinate/assist where required and be flexible with doctors and other Medical & Aesthetic Clinic staff.
  • Strictly maintain the confidentiality of the clients/patients. 
  • Knowledge of Debit/Credit machine usage.
  • Need to operate the TELUS Med-Access EMR and Medical Aesthetic Software (Mindbody).
  • Need to maintain the sanitization and sterilization of the equipment’s/consumables and maintain the cleanliness of the environment as per the Alberta Health Infection & Prevention Standards.
  • Maintain the inventory/consumables list records and maintain their expiry and re-order quantity.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, multitask, problem solve and be proactive in managing office dynamics.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Computer skills proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good typing speed.
  • Pleasant interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to represent the office in a professional manner.
  • A strong sales orientation.

Requirements:

  • Medical Office Assistance (MOA) Diploma/Certificate.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • English, Punjabi, Urdu & Hindi is preferred.
  • French not required.

Work Hours: Full Time/Part Tme hours: Up to 20-30 hours/week.

Salary: $15-$18/hour (contract base as per related work experience).

Contract Length: 6-12 months & extendable.

  • Calgary, AB T3N 1Z2: reliably commute (required).
