Medical Aesthetician/Laser Tech. Position will cover the following job responsibilities but not limited to:

• Be flexible with the work schedule.
• Co-ordinate/assist where required and be flexible with doctors and other Medical & Aesthetic Clinic staff.
• Strictly maintain the confidentiality of the clients/patients. 
• Manage and coordinate website and other social media platforms like Snapchat, Facebook, etc. Post the packages/promotions/advertise the treatments/procedures options regularly.
• Build and maintain a loyal client base by providing excellent service and establishing a good rapport with clients.
• Promote our services and products to potential clients in the community. 
• Explain and provide consultation to the clients/patients seeking treatments for the Medical Aesthetics and Men’s/Women’s Sexual Health & Wellness Procedures. 
• At the reception desk, handle client appointments by receiving and scheduling Aesthetic treatments through Mindbody software and patient appointments via Med-Access software. 
• Provide consultation to the clients, assess their eligibility for procedures, thoroughly explain the advantages and disadvantages of the treatments, potential side effects, outline pre- and post-procedure precautions, input relevant medical history, and obtain consent along with signatures using Mindbody forms.
• Better understanding of debit/credit machine for processing payments.  
• Verify and secure financial approval from MediCard financing for clients/patients, if necessary.
• Conduct or assist in performing scheduled procedures and treatments for clients/patients based on the assigned day/week schedule.
• Record comprehensive chart notes for the administered treatment in the Medical Aesthetic Software (Mindbody) for the respective client/patient.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the environment by adhering to Alberta Health Infection and Prevention Standards, including the regular sanitization and sterilization of equipment and consumables.
• Keep accurate records of inventory and consumables, including monitoring expiration dates and managing reorder quantities as necessary.
• Operate TELUS Med-Access EMR, Medical Aesthetic Software (Mindbody) and medical photo software for before & after pictures for the treatment.
• Knowledge of AlumierMD Skin Care brand is an asset.
• Perform/Assist the following procedure/treatments to the patients/clients but not limited to.
  • • Assist PRP treatments & Phlebotomy.
    • Perform HydraFacial Syndeo / Chemical Peels etc. treatments.
    • Assist Women’s sexual Health procedures like PRP-women shots, Morpheus8v, V-tone, plus90, UTI/Kegel treatments etc.
    • Assist Men’s ED (Erectile Dysfunction) treatments like PRP-Men-Shots, Alpha Energy treatments, UTI/Kegel treatments etc.
    • Perform/Assist Morpheus 8 for the face, neck, décolleté and body.
    • Perform/Assist other treatments for acne, rosacea, wrinkles, permanent hair removal etc. by using treatment options available at the YHVH Medical Clinic.
    • Assist BHRT (Bio-Identical Hormone replacement therapy)/Pallet implant procedure.
    • Perform/Assist Dp4™ microneedling, Microdermabrasion, Forma/Forma Plus, Hydrafacial, Evoke and EvolveX for patients/clients.
    • Provide consultation to the clients, assess their eligibility for procedures, thoroughly explain the advantages and disadvantages of the treatments, potential side effects, outline pre- and post-procedure precautions, input relevant medical history, and obtain consent along with signatures using Mindbody forms.

Work Hours: Part-time hours: Up to 20-30 hours/week based on the client booking.
